Hi All,
How is travelling to Gambia these days? What kind of tourist are visiting Gambia? Is it better to travel as independent traveller or in a package/group tour to Gambia? And are tours available to neighbouring country Senegal? Is that safe to do?
Thanks a lot!!

Hi,
I've been to Gambia some years ago and had a really good time. There are beaches, towns/cities you can visit. And you can go on a tour to for example the birtplace of Kunta Kinte, the story of the slave that was deported from Gambia to America. It's interesting!
However there is a certain part of the tourism population that goed as ' sextourist'. So at night you might see some 'sextourism' in popular places, but it's not in your face, so not too bad.
Have fun!!
