How is the climate really like in Namibia and Botswana in March? I would like to hear some first hand information from people who have been there during that season. In all the websites I've found people are warning of very hot and wet weather and telling that it's of little or no use of going to, e.g., Botswana in March as heat is hellish and it's raining all the time. So is the heat really that bad, can you see any wildlife at all, and how is Okavango during that time?
I need to travel in March, and the other option would be to take 3-4 week roundtrip in South Africa. So what do you think about that idea? Would March be good time to travel in South Africa, and which option you would take? |
